Smith could be ruing his aggressive shot at 17. Why not go to the right of the bunker and guarantee 4?!! His putting on a magnificent performance today with the flat stick. If he closes this out, it should go down as one of the all-time Open wins

goose
Young with a fantastic eagle that is sadly too little too late. And Cam gets his birdie to likely seal the deal.

Young's eagle earned him an extra $500k in winnings over 3rd place. Not bad.
Principled Man
Lots of people taking about Rory's "failure". He finished at 18 under par and almost won the Open Championship. He didn't fail. He played GREAT. It just so happened that two guys played a little bit better.

He played really well, has done for a while actually, and Smith just played a classic round to win. I thought this was a proper renaissance from Rory and he should be able to build on it. That Smith can`t deny rumours of a move to LIV somewhat tarnishes it for me though.
edhunter
Cam Smith takes the trophy and now it looks like he's bailing for the Arab tour as well. At what point is the PGA forced to come to the table?

You try and convince the instructor you`re aware of everything around you if you`re wearing a burka.

Will they need their husbands' or fathers' permission to use the driver? Or maybe some male will tee off for them? Think of the possibilities of Saudi golf! 1

IbanezJem
Tiger turned down an offer of $750m to join LIV. Without wishing to take a different stance for him as opposed to everyone else... but bearing in mind he can barely play and can`t be good for more than a year, it must have been more justifiably tempting for him to take their money. Demand it up front then limp away.

Ovet than Saudi money, Tiger's probably more interested in preserving his legacy as the greatest golfer the game has seen, which was his father's dream.

Short of Tiger carrying out beheadings for MBS, his legacy as the GOAT is safe with me.
