Wow, that`s some first 10 holes from Phil, from -5 to -10 and playing immaculately.

That was one heck of a run. He went on to make some great scramble pars after that bogie-double combo to stay at -7.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Who doesn't want to see Phil bang out another Major? Man, if he could only nail down a US Open before he moves on to the Senior tour.

Wouldn't that be something.

Some crazy twists and turn already! I`ve watched Phil and Koepka play the 2nd and 3rd and there`s all sorts happening, two incredibly rare events - Phil duffing chips and Brooks missing from a yard... this`ll do nicely for the next few hours.

Opening up a four shot lead for the back nine, with his experience... well Phil, you`re probably not going to get another chance like this again. Seize it!!!!

Phil is doing great, then I turn on my TV.

Bogie, bogie, missed easy birdie putt.

My jinxing powers are strong.

I just tuned in and Mick's got a two-stroke lead with three holes to play. He's just hit it 366yds off the tee, dead center.

220 to the hole...6-iron...lefty fade on and through the green, but safe.

Birdie on 16. Phil repelled my jinx with a HUGE drive and great chip. :sundog:

Phil`s performance suggests I might be useful for at least another five years, which is quite uplifting :codger:

This tournament works really well early in the calendar, and more majors should be played at Kiawah Island or Whistling Straits. Love these windy, sand covered courses.

Brooks was holding his backswing when he seemed to disappear into the crowd.

Koepka wondered allowed that maybe some fans in the crush at 18 were trying to take out his knee. He recently had surgery on it.
