I had these guys in my backyard this afternoon. There's a pregnant female with last year's male fawn (whose antlers are just starting to sprout!) and another one of undetermined gender.

The feeling I get after a shower, my skin is warm and I feel all 'glowie'! (four days max between, this was three) http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Bathing/shower-smiley.gif

Had a roommate a few years ago blow into a kitchen conversation one day and say, "It's been a week since I've showered!"

Puts my 24-48hr system to shame

Messiness is not a big deal but body odor and being unhygienic is a problem.

The newest season of Trailer Park Boys brought some needed laughs to the end of my day :)

Also, had a pretty amusing conversation about this place when a group member noticed me browsing it

I don't know. I went to bed with a wonky sort of stomach, but that went away during the night, But I felt SOOOOOO GOOD, and HAPPY this morning, but I don't know WHY. Some really happy dream I didn't remember, being 'Touched By An Angel' or whatever. Not exactly driving me nuts trying to find out, just enjoying the feeling! http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Yay%20%20Woo-Hoo%20%20etc/Frolicking.gif

Just being a Sunday afternoon couch potato because I want to. Not because I'm too paralyzed by depression and anxiety to do otherwise. :)

There is no difference between the couch and Mount Everest.

Why go there? Because it's THERE!!

My son had his first football practice tonight, with teammates who are all older than he is...he was really apprehensive and shy about being around them, because he's the youngest on the team. And in middle school, just one year of difference, 7th grade versus 6th, is a big deal for a lot of kids. He was worried that he wasn't going to be any good because "they're all more experienced"...and that they wouldn't accept him.

I told him he was just as good as they are, and he had nothing to worry about, but he didn't believe me. That was a couple of days ago.

But then I watched him start to play tonight- he ran all of his routes correctly, he caught every pass...he was better than some of the other receivers...I saw him high-fiving with a couple of guys, and he was smiling...

He's doing just fine. Just like I knew he would. :)

Drawing (as in sketching) out some ideas I've had floating around my head for a while.

Remembering that I still have my health and a lot of people don't have that, so I don't really have the right to complain. I know it's cliche, but it's true.
