What made you HAPPY today?

Here we go: http://www.therushfo...20#entry3343219

Post has link straight to a Beverly Hills doctor who will fix you right up! I didn't click on the link, but if I remember the discussion, there are before and after pics. :)

Eeeek !! :) :)

Maybe I should click on it? :)

Go for it! In the name of research for John Rogers, of course ;)

I shouldn't be laughing but I am.

When I saw they even do penis widening, I couldn't help myself.

I see they even correct the curve. Some men must be really picky.

I saw that! I was just peeking at that ad from the Beverly Hills surgical place. The ad played on my computer with this weird smooth jazz music that made the place seem kind of sleazy . . . . . . I'd be scared, I think! :D

Bow-chicka-bow-bow!

One day in the not too distant future, some TRFer is going to post in this thread:

"What a great day today! I had my penis widened!"

And it'll get a thousand LIKEs.

There is such a thing as too big.

I've heard that a lot

   ;)

I had dinner with my son. He's 16. He bought dinner, nothing fancy or expensive, but considering he gets minimum wage, it was special.

My son had his first football practice tonight, with teammates who are all older than he is...he was really apprehensive and shy about being around them, because he's the youngest on the team. And in middle school, just one year of difference, 7th grade versus 6th, is a big deal for a lot of kids. He was worried that he wasn't going to be any good because "they're all more experienced"...and that they wouldn't accept him.

I told him he was just as good as they are, and he had nothing to worry about, but he didn't believe me. That was a couple of days ago.

But then I watched him start to play tonight- he ran all of his routes correctly, he caught every pass...he was better than some of the other receivers...I saw him high-fiving with a couple of guys, and he was smiling...

He's doing just fine. Just like I knew he would. :)

We could use some of that. The clouds rolling over the mountains have been incredibly beautiful, but...enough already!

We had a few rays of sunshine yesterday, but other than that it's been about a week of grey blah outside.

We have the middle school marching band on a dress rehearsal around the neighborhood stalled in front of our home for the past fifteen minutes playing up a storm. The dogs across the street are in hiding as well as my cats.

Their brass section is wincing, but I think it's wonderful that they are taught to play an instrument at such a young age.

:)

My son has a middle school band concert tonight- third (and final) one for the school year. He really enjoys it.

Both of my kids have also been taking piano lessons for about a year and a half now (started when they were 10 and 7, respectively).

:)

I won a couple of auctions on eBay for a 2002-vintage dual cassette deck and CD recorder. I used to have both, but they malfunctioned and died some time ago.

I was going through a bunch of old things that I only have on cassette that I'd like to be able to put on disc (so no, an audiophile snob, I am not). ;) It will be great just to be able to listen to them again, anywhere that I want to!

Anyway...I got both pieces, shipping costs included, for less than $100.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I wanted to share it with you:

It is easy enough to be pleasant,

When life goes along like a song.

But the one who's worthwhile,

Is the one who can smile

When everything goes

dead wrong!

Sounds like it's familiar though I bet it's not.

I'm thinking something smart like Doctor Seuss or Charlie Brown.

Started the bike and weights at physical therapy and didn't do half bad. :)

Nice!

:)

Started the bike and weights at physical therapy and didn't do half bad. :)

That's great news!

Thanks so much...

...it has been a long road.

I meet with the orthopedist tomorrow...hope to find out when I can drive again and when I can discontinue medication which adds to my insomnia.

I'm very optimistic that I'll be on my mountain bike and able to hike this summer.

(Not to mention going back to work!)

Other good news is that I've actually lost weight in my six months not working and the abnormalities with my heart have greatly improved from January to May.

A new and improved me, that's for sure.

Thanks again...you guys rock!

I think Lorraine is awesome on a train.

I think Lorraine is awesome on a plane.

With her, TRF would not be the same.

Awesome on a train, awesome on a plane...

...that's our awesome Lorraine.

You got me beat. To answer the thread topic, I was going to say "chocolate cake". ;)

Seriously though, that's great news. :)
