Yeah, I should have used the "What's a RUSH best of list without..." line for Freewill, but I was just fuckking around. I mean honesty, I can easily go to at least Top 40 before I reach a song that I don't absolutely love to bits, so the whole Top 10 / 20 thing is a little bit of an exercise in absurdity.

I agree that 1981 was a tipping point for the band... I was still a huge fan, just not wholly enamored with what they were putting out... CP was the first post-81 album that I really began to like and after that, CA is their best imo... I could listen to Headlong Flight on a loop...

I was making a Best of Rush playlist on my phone to listen to at work, but it ended up at 142 songs - covering all moods I may experience at work! - so I'm not a great culler of songs either...
