I just saw a boring clip on Monday Night Football's half time show. :zzz:

Not enough Leia or Luke. Is Luke Skywalkers appearance some shrouded secret?

 

I have heard that he is not in the movie until the very end.....but it is all rumor and speculation.

To set up the next movie, I'm guessing.

I loved the first trilogy and I even liked the 2nd--but I have not been this excited for a movie in a very long time.

He is lucky,

 

This morning before driving to work I had my 25 year old, 20 year old, 15 and 14 year olds and my wife all standing around the computer watching the trailer--the sounds of glee coming from them was a joy to hear.

One of the highlights of the trailer- it was the first time they showed this guy where he wasnt sweating, confused and breathing heavily

For me, it's easy to skip stuff like this because I'm in a place where Star Wars is a very very peripheral thing. Most people haven't seen any of the films (though know of it) and there aren't any tv commercials for it yet. However, many will go out to see this simply because it'll be a new film from Hollywood. Then, I expect, theaters will be empty for it after two weeks tops. Far East often works like this.

I'm with you... I am not a setlist peeker and I don't like to know what the movie is about going in. A general sense is fine, but details, no thanks. I'm sure there is a lot of info out there, both true and untrue... need to try and figure out which is which and I'd rather just go into it without any expectations, real or fake

generally I agree.

 

But, what about say, knowing the sex of a baby before birth?

 

I don't mind a trailer, but yeah, I want mostly surprises.

That is not a good analogy. A film or concert is mere entertainment. Nothing all that important in the grand scheme of life.....

They can't leave out the original robots, can they? Was there a scene with R2D2 in one of the trailers, or am I mis-remembering? I'll have to go on youtube sometime today and check.

I can't help myself, I love spoilers--and personally I don't find they reduce my enjoyment of an event.

 

at christmas time I always peeked.
