Both are beautifully produced, both suffer from negative feedback more than most. Both have weird moments (in a good or bad way, up to you to decide).

Changed to SA. From start to finish I was captivated. Maybe severe drowsiness played a part, but it was a really soothing album. Beautiful in many places as well.

With the exception of Faithless, I agree that it is beautiful.

In the way a clogged toilet is beautiful, maybe.

Armor and Sword must be your favorite off the album then. It is certainly the most turgid of a turgid bunch.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with Counterparts, for its variety of styles and content.

I just find the lyrics to be overly preachy and completely lacking in subtlety.

Snakes. Believe it, or not.

I only like three songs on Counterparts. Snakes is way too long of an album, but it really has some very good songs on it. I'm glad I gave the album another chance. Thanks to RUDT. I wonder where he went? Maybe he considered it a job well done and called it a day after turning me on to Snakes.
