Lost In Xanadu
http://www.cbssports...-dies-at-age-75 The timing of this is really strange. Just this weekend my dad and I were talking about former Packers coaches and he couldn't think of one of them (he was trying to remember Phil Bengtson) and I rolled thru what I could remember... We stopped on Lindy Infante and talked about him for a while. Funniest was when I said Ray Rhodes and my dad said "he was our head coach?!?" Must be the resulting PTSD blocking that year from his memory. Edited October 9, 2015 by Lost In Xanadu
Principled Man
Infante was a good man and a very good offensive coordinator. He may not have been "tough enough" to succeed as an NFL head coach, but he was still quite deserving of respect for his contributions to the game. After leaving the Colts, Infante retired at 57 and never looked back. Kudos to him for seeing that life does not have to revolve around football. :ebert:
