disembodiedspirit2015
Not the heaviest, fastest or hardest. Just the most powerful: it make you air guitar, air drum (and even air violin) and/or tear up. Class dismissed.
Narps
For an older dude like me I would agree. I would doubt that younger folks would quite get the same feeling though. They are still immortal if only for a limited time ... :codger:

Lucas
Admittedly, this is going to sound off the wall - but I buy into the sci-fi fantasy stuff more than the reality stuff And the whole rebirth / returning anew theme of the Cygnus story moves me more and has more meaning ... It is far more inspiring, as it is not the end - as there is no end
Pressure/Hopenosis
Powerful musically? Ah, no... Powerful lyrics and meaning especially now? Yes...
Blue Barchetta
Okay song. "Working Them Angels" really turns my knobs as far as powerful meaning.

Geddy's Soul Patch
It's not the most musically powerful IMO, but it's definitely one of the most lyrically powerful

AnEggplant
I like it, but it's not the most powerful for me. Of course Afterimage is certainly a candidate, but I also find The Garden to be pretty powerful (as ridiculed as I'll be for saying that). I don't know if there is a single most powerful Rush song.
