The Analog Cub
Main Monkey Business is a killer instrumental and so is YYZ. They're two different "kinds" of instrumental, so it's hard for me to pit one against another. Both are excellent.

There is so much wonderful stuff on the world that is newer than that, no matter what your style. And I'm sorry that you are not able to appreciate any of it.

I am speaking about Rush music specifically in as so much as if you ask me this song or that song and they were generally close by most peoples definition I would always take the older one. Example of the opposite... The Garden or Different Strings I would take The Garden but that situation would be few and far between because The Garden is much better... AnEggplant
Whenever I listen to Rush I almost never reach for Moving Pictures. Don't get me wrong, I do love that album, but for whatever reason I always go for Fly By Night - Permanent Waves and then Counterparts - Clockwork Angels. Theoretically I believe that it is "their most perfect album". I wore it out for a period in the mid-eighties. But I have as well always loved Neil's debut front to back. Something about the tightness of the drums and the power of the trio. And I'll never get sick o' dis:
