Sarge
Don't know this singer but I can't understand the ill feeling towards him, surely the decision to not bring Jon Anderson back & give this guy the job was not his but Mr Howe, Mr White & (dare I say it) Mr Squire's. fraroc
Once I read Tom Sawyer as the cover song...I moved along. There really is one Rush song forever immortalized in the eyes of the mainstream music industry....Why the hell wouldn't they pick Tom Saywer?
WorkingAllTheTime
Listen.... I cringed when I read "Jon Davidson" because I immediately thought of "John Davidson". So..... I was relieved. As for the Foos..... I have suspected for a while that Grohl is more along for the Rush ride and Hawkins is really the Rush nerd.... this only reinforces that notion. Why did he leave the band? Supposedly he left for awhile because he was ill, yet when he became healthy again, he "wasn't invited back in". This was right before the "Fly From Here" album. I thought that record was great even without Anderson. Then, their next album "We Have Heaven" was a major disappointment. That was their last studio album, and I hope their last ever now that Chris Squire is gone. Clem

As much as I love love old Yes there has to be a time to hang it up after soooooo many lineup changes and the death of the master bassist has to be it. Hang it up guys please...

That seems to be the norm for guys in his age range though, as getting old does indeed suck.

I am a huge old Journey fan and saw them 3 times in their absolute hey day and I hate to say this but last I heard him it wasn't good. No worse than Ged's decline but more noticeable because Perry was a "singer" and his voice was beautiful for any genre of music and by any standards. Nothing against the love I have/had for young Ged's voice but they are different cases in my view... :codger:

JARG
It's nice to see how much love Rush gets amongst other musicians. It's also nice to see that the guitarist in this video struggled with the solo in a few spots. Alex wasn't no slouch.
