Watch porn and masturbate and then you Will sleep like a baby

Yeah....pretty much

This. When has that not worked?

If you do it too much?

Your mileage may vary

I suspect the giant sandwich and sugary drink and cookie are not going to help matters (well, it solved the old "I'm hungry" problem). I've tried listening to music, and I've tried reading, and I've tried lying still with my eyes closed and thinking about stuff. (I can't not think about stuff--clearing my mind is not something I've ever been able to do). I've tried melatonin. The thought of warm milk makes me want to gag. I don't want to use sleeping pills.

Toymaker, I had mixed results with melatonin - mostly disappointing UNTIL I tried liquid melatonin

Melatonin is not a drug, and it actually had beneficial properties

Pill - form melatonin works great for me. Used only on occasion.

It can never be to much!

Kelso:

But I was just amusing myself, you know? And that's the key to life, right? Never stop amusing yourself.

Fez:

Unless it starts to chafe. Then you should take a week off ... It's almost Tuesday, right?

read a book

This works. And it's not because I don't like reading; I love to read...and normally I have no trouble sleeping at all. I just don't sleep more than 5-6 hours a night, on average. (It has been a bit more lately, though).

But yeah, for me to lie down with a book, when I've been up for a good eighteen hours? I'm asleep after less than one page, sometimes.

Nothing helps me sleep but lately mint tea helps relax me.

And candle light...

it's not a good idea to get into the habit of drinking booze to help you fall asleep.

Not unless I'm chasing a handful of painkillers.

Mm, whiskey and pills.

Dreamless and painless happy nap time.

How long does it take you to get going in the morning?

Not long at all...there are other kinds of pills and cocaine to assist with the process.

When I can't sleep I just stare at my eyelids and think about things. That's why I can't sleep. My body will relax but my mind won't shut off.

That's what happened to me last night. I didn't fall asleep until almost 3:00 AM and was back up at 5:40. My mind wouldn't shut down. It insisted on taking a trip down memory lane. Every time I tried to pull it back, it went off again.

Nothing you can do when that happens. Just wait it out. Sooner or later, you sleep. I try not to get stressed about it since that only makes it worse.

There's a chewable tablet called Midnight that uses natural ingredients to activate your sleep cycle. It usually gives me at least five or six solid hours of sleep when I need help. It's sold at my local grocery store in the same section as the other painkillers/sleep aides. I'm not sure what it's availability is everywhere though.
