Do you mean "Ding" instead of "Ping?"

Two totally different things!

I call it the Ping, but yes i mean the Ding.

I will go and edit it so these people who claim to be TrueRushFans™ know what I am talking about.

No. The false prophets must be revealed.

Antiquark, too late. I already edited it and made it easy for them.

But it will take me days to recover from the initial shock of this. :codger:

Please explain the difference to me so that I don't make this mistake again. :scared:

One is the sound a submarine makes in a 1950's movie... and I forget what the other one is!

To me, it's more a Ting! than a "Ding", but yes, nearly all the time.

Well I called it a "Ping" but the first two voters had no idea what I was talking about, so I changed it to "Ding" and now you say "Ting."

:(

Maybe it's "Bing." That works too!

Ah, sorry about that, Lorraine. I'm afraid I have a long and rather silly history with the whole Ting! concept.

I was going to post some explanatory links but I didn't want to spoil your fun ;)

Ting is Irish for "Thing"...so Ye'll have to leave that Ting alone

You know what i like about it? it's not something you have to tense yourself up to wait for. It's very leisurely, and you can't miss being accurate! :)

It's a great moment...difficult not to join in
