Yup, you did something wrong. You said "I haven't not been". It means you've been to Myanmar. BUT the request before your sentence was to LIE...which means you didn't go to Myanmar.

Yup, you did something wrong. You said "I haven't not been". It means you've been to Myanmar. BUT the request before your sentence was to LIE...which means you didn't go to Myanmar.

 

And this is why good writers do not use double negatives :)
