JohnnyBlaze
In this promo pic for Lost Boys, 1 of the 6 actors here is actually a blood-sucking vampire. The movie makers felt it wise to protect its identity so all filmmaking was done after dusk and before sunrise so that the creature could remain anonymous.http://www.popoptiq.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/lostboys2.jpg Lie

JohnnyBlaze
The inspiration for the movie Lost Boys came from the idea that Peter Pan was a vampire that visited Wendy & her brothers only at night and never grew old. The original screenplay had the vampires as 5th & 6th graders, the Frog brothers as younger Cub scouts, and Sutherland's character David also called "Peter". There are other nods in the movie I haven't mentioned that are connected to the Peter Pan story. JohnnyBlaze
In the 80s, New York City was built into a maximum security prison and ruled by a crime lord called The Duke. Residents/prisoners often tried to escape but were repelled by U.S. soldiers that patrolled the walls and harbor. Roads/routes were destroyed and/or were booby trapped with land mines which prevented escaping from the city.
