I'm keeping this one short.

Greatest Rush gig ever for me.

I've never seen Neil stand up and take pictures of the crowd

Then he bolted to the front of the stage and shocked the hell out of Geddy!!

The three of them together stage center was for the Ages.

I'm not bragging but my God this was it for me.

I'm satisfied until the day I die.

This is the greatest f***ing Rush Forum in the world.

I honestly don't know how you all tolerate me.

Rush fans are the greatest fans in the world.

Every Rush fan I meet is fanfuckingtastic.

Rush is the greatest fukking band in all the interstellar land.

Nothing will ever surpass the sweet serenity of Rush supremacy!

Guess I'm not keeping this one short eh????

So let's make a bet.

I bet anyone a 12 pack of beer that Rush will one day play three shows in Toronto.

I know I know they may play a few cities here and there but my bet is that they are either done forever or will play the last shows in Toronto.

Place your bets!!!

Roll The Bones bitches!!!

Face Up!!!

Ass down........

I have never seen Neil Peart run to the front of the stage like that. Ever. Never ever. Taking pictures from behind the kit? WTF?

He looked like a kid on the last day of school. And then he ran off by himself...

It was a good show. So glad I was there. Sorry I didn't see you.

God I love you man.

Just because we don't hang out doesn't mean we aren't good friends.

We get it.

I am ficking blown away

I keep watching my video over and over again of the end.

Your post nailed it.

Neil was on fire!

He was so bored in SJ and in Irvine.

This show was simply divine.

Hey it rhymed and I'm getting drunk at the Yard House!

Rush nerds everywhere!!!

Rush Con zombies in the streets of LA.

Not digging that shut man.

Star Wars junkies in oversized black Rush shirts

Glad I am an independent Rush addict.

Nothing touches Rush.

I will never waste my time with another woman again.

20 years down the drain.

31 years with Rush.

My true love.

Neil I will love u until the day I die.

You are are really good human being.

I see through the wilderness of mirrors.

I might get a Rush tat.

Fukk it

Rush Forever!!!!!

You are beautiful Earl! I love you too!

Geddy thanked the crew and the United States. This whole tour was unprecedented. If this was indeed the last ever Rush concert we were there.

This was my 38th Rush show (didn't make it to 40) and it was epic beyond belief. The part with Neil at the end coming up to the front was jaw dropping. Finally got to see Losing It, as the other dates I went on this tour they didn't play it.

Another surprising thing was Neil's wife was sitting a couple rows from me with Matt Scannell. I also ran into Kevin J Anderson. One of the string players from the Clockwork Angels tour was also in the same section (Gerry Hilera), as was one of the co-founders/CEO of Blizzard Entertainment (Michael Morhaime).

If this is indeed the final Rush show, it was one for the books.

Amen!!! Incredible post!!

Some are blessed and some are cursed!

I believe every human is blessed and cursed.

We who were in attendance tonight were blessed.

Nothing will ever touch this show.

It's full circle for me.

In 1984 my first show I was able to sneak up to the front barrier. Geddy's side.

Tonight I snuck up to the front on Alex's side.

Pure bliss

I'm satisfied for eternity.

I love you too C X!!!!!

I'm at the Yard House in tears.

Rush fans everywhere.

I've done it all man!

My life is complete.

I will be alone for the rest of my life.

I don't need a woman to fill my void.

I have my girls and Rush.

If the boys play Toronto I'm there but I won't hold my breath.

Cheers amigo!!

Rush Forever!!!!

knowing that Neil had nowhere to ride and that his wife was there, I'm not surprised to hear he didn't run out immediately. I'm shocked to hear he took photos. It's a bit of an eye opener on his thoughts of touring again. Great review Earl. Another one that should be printed in the paper.

I'm so happy for all of you who got to see this show...and it's so great to hear about Neil and his 'uncharacteristic' behavior...haha! I would love to have seen that.

I think many of us had the feeling ahead of time that the L.A. show would indeed be one for the ages.

And Rush is the band of a lifetime.

Amen!

I'm pretty sure Neil has snapped crowd photos from behind the kit before, albeit rarely. I think on the TM tour blogs from his website I saw one or more of his crowd photos posted, but I could be creatively remembering (maybe he just grabbed some of John Arrowsmith's shots). I'm sure he'll post one of these photos in his next "news" update. I hope he gets the next one up soon. I'm wondering how much more than usual it will be about the tour ending and the shows themselves rather than mostly the traveling adventures in between.
