I paid a ton of attention to it in Seattle. Front row you lose a lot of the overall effect of the light show. Not disappointed in the least though. The view from the rafters must've been incredible to see it from above I've seen it both close and far, and it's amazing how much of the lights you miss by being close. Of course, if you can see the light show, you probably can't really see them!Merely, you are exactly right. Since I usually get some pretty good seats, one of the things that I like to do is swap my seats during the "hits" at the start of the second set with a carefully selected dad and his son sitting waaaaaay back. I'll look for my "victims" while getting beer during the first set, and discuss it with dad during halftime. Usually, the kid comes back with great pics on his phone and eyes just agog, dad looks like a hero, and I get to enjoy Howard's expertise for a few songs.
