Recommended Posts

Does anyone on here have this live album? Blu-ray? DVD? CD? DOWNLOAD????

I finally cracked the seal on my big purple box set. For my ears this is turning into one of the greatest live albums I have ever heard. Queen is METAL!!!

The live version of "The Great King Rat" has totally kicked my ass.

This album is heavy as fuckk and it absolutely amazing.

If you are a Queen Fan then pick this thing up! There are many versions out there. JUST GET IT!!!

Trust me! I AM NOT A "LIAR!!!!!" LOL!!

Who are the top two male vocalists of all time?

The answer is easy.

1. FREDDIE MERCURY

2. ROB HALFORD

I have this one on both CD and Blu ray. And I must agree that it is a awesome live album! (from two tours) One of the best I have bought in a very long time!

This is when Queen was as best!

It's one hell of a Queen album, if not to say, it's a KILLER QUEEN album. ;)

I mean it's all there, fat sound, firing band, great setlists and some enthusiastic folks in the audience.

Just listening to the March 1974 version of Son And Daughter. :haz:

I agree....one of the greatest live albums ever.

I'm surprised at how long took to surface after hearing how great it is.

The DVD is pretty amazing as well.

Note to skeptics: This is no cash grab, rather a great live document of this great band on the verge of taking over the world!

Note to Lord Duck: Run, immediately and purchase this!

Yeah, I was blown away by this. Happy as a pig in shit to get some of that early live stuff.

Yeah why the hell did it take so long?

The vaults of the major recording companies are filled with endless shit. Probably looks like the end of "Citizen Kane" or "Raiders Of The Lost Ark!" HAHAHAHAHA!!

Fuckkiing idiot corporate suits are clueless what they have!!!!

Got both the CD and DVD. This is the live Queen I'd been waiting for :haz: Absolutely amazing.

Given all the overdubbing and harmonies on those early Queen albums, I couldn't imagine how some of that material would work live....but it absolutely does.

I love the re-arranged solo on White Queen (As it Began)...which on the studio version sounds like a Sitar...but the live version on here has got a really spacey solo that is just out of this world.

Live Killers was great...but this is mind blowing

Early Queen was very, very good - They were a great live band ! Many of their songs are slightly different when performed live vs studio albums,...(Not that this is unheard of)

but during the early tours Mercury would spend far more time at the grand piano adding depth and tempo - such as in White Queen as mentioned above.

I was fortunate to see them 7 X with the original lineup between 1976-1982. (which is a lot for a US fan). I also saw 3 show w/Paul Rogers on vocals and

also 3X with Adam Lambert on vocals recently.
