Locally brewed and owned! Have tried, but can't get with the IPAs, they are too hoppy for me.

Pale ales are YUK. Bitter, hoppy, too much bite. I don't like wincing when I'm drinking a beverage.....

even though I love super IPA's I get what you're sayin. That's why I like to mix in wheats and porters into the rotation.

At St. Francis Brewery, in St. Francis, Wisconsin (....a Milwaukee suburb), they brew seven beers, which are named after the Seven Deadly Sins.

I've tried this one, and it's pretty tasty:

Lust - Weissbeer

Wrath - Malty Amber Ale

Envy - IPA

Sloth - Nut Brown Ale

Gluttony - Porter

Pride - Dark Malty Coffee Ale

Well, it's one of the places it's brewed. Also brewed right here in Tampa.

3 or 4 favorites? Surely you jest!

OK, everyday/any day beers, Yeungling or Fat Tire.

Our latest "Last day" hAppy our was at a bar with 36 taps, lots of nice brews! Hit the Sam Adams Summer Ale and the Funky Buddha Blonde ale hard, mixed in a couple of Sumpthin Sumpthin's, and finished with a Saltwater Brewery's Sea Cow milk stout-yum!

On the cheaper, more nationwide end,

This is like asking me to pick a favorite child. Impossible.

Lots of great ones mentioned here so far...Newcastle, Rogue Chocolate Stout, XX and Tecate, Old Rasputin. I'll add Leffe, Killian ' s Red, Tsing Tao, Beck's, and Rogue Maple Bacon to the m8x.

IPA's are a real crapshoot, depending on what you like and how hopped up the beer is. I like some hops, but not the "hop bombs" alluded to above. My first fave was Bell's Big Two Hearted IPA, espcailly when fresh tapped at the Eccentric Cafe (Bells in-house pub in Kalamazoo, MI). Founder's All Day IPA is another nice one, just enough hop bite without going crazy. Down here in FL Funky Buddha has a Blonde Ale that has just enough hops, and is a another good session ale,
