Damn Right I Got The Blues

Recommended Posts

Just found this thread. I absolutely love blues guitar.

SRV live Montreux 1985 gets played at my house everyday.

Also a huge fan of Seasick Steve.

In the middle of a massive John Lee Hooker kick. The true king of boogie.

And tonight, Taste At The Isle of Wight will be watched.

Any good recommendations by him? Any albums?

"I'm John Lee Hooker" is a great place to start.

House Of The Blues

Burnin'

Travelin'

Burning Hell

Sings Blues/Sings The Blues

There are hundreds. There's a fantastic 10 disc(16 original albums from his classic period & bonus tracks) box. It's essential and ridiculously cheap.

That's a real good price! Much better than the 10 disc BB King box
