If you cut your teeth on synth era Rush to current day Rush and it means more to you then take it. If you are old and old school like me and wouldn't trade 70's and barely sneaking into the 80's Rush for any music (or Rush music anyway) in the world then you choose that. I didn't listen to quite a few of these albums for the longest time post Signals so they're a little newer to me. But I can't imagine never hearing any of the pre-Signals albums ever again.
