I'm biased by my love of screech-tastic Ged, so my vote went to Hemispheres since that is kind of the pinnacle of that era :).

First tour I saw was at the Paramount in Seattle 1976.

Wow! Excellent.

There is a well-circulated soundboard recording of that show- do you have it?

No I don't... Where can I find it???

Send me your mailing address, and you shall have it.

October 25th '76 at the Paramount Theater, I believe? Yes? If that's the one you saw, then yeah...I have it.

What is it about Power Windows that makes many of you think he sang his best on it? Just curious.

I think the whole album sounds great. Production, his voice...etc.

lol........just the production. 80's slightly cold awash in synths. I love it though. it crackles.

That's the instruments used, not the production but I agree with you. :)

I still don't understand what is so special about his singing on the album. Can someone point me to a specific song? I'll give it a listen.

I didn't vote for Power Windows in this poll, but I do think several songs on it are especially good. I'd suggest Manhattan Project or Marathon.

I think they're all good which is why I didn't list a specific song.

I think his vocals on ATWAS are the most organic and impressive.

You would be right...

I didn't vote for Power Windows either, but some examples of fantastic vocal parts on that album are the "oh-ohs" in Grand Designs, the "shock wave" line in Manhattan Project, and the "drive you when you're down" towards the end of Middletown Dreams.
