PAYING ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR BACK STAGE MEET AND GREET PASS

I will travel anywhere there is a pass available. It is worth it to me so please let me know if anyone has won a contest or can get me on the list

Hello does anyone have a hookup for passes? If so I am your guy. Looking for (1) pass on this tour.

Not worth it. You get 20-30 seconds at the most. I had a meet and greet a few tours ago and right before going in I told a friend he could have it. I am a big Rush fan, but he worshipped Rush so it meant more to him. I don't even ask any of my friends if they can get me into the meet and greet. They tend to be get them in and get them out.

Also it would help if you listed what shows you are looking to go to or are you willing to travel anywhere.

The problem is alot of the passes that are giving away to radio station will not be until a day or two before the show. They will give away tickets all week and have a grand prize drawing for a meet and greet but it is always last minute. Friends I know that get meet and greets from the radio station never know until the day before the show. Though they usually always get Rush since it is one of their favorite bands.

Good luck to you, personally like someone mention I would go to more shows then spending money on a meet and greet. If you really want to meet them take a chance and try to figure out what hotel they will stay at. In Vegas it is most likely the Four Seasons. Just sit outside the venue before the show and see what vehical they arrive in. You be surprised how many times they arrive in a white courtesy van with the hotel logo on the side.

Friend got me a KISS meet and greet and invited me (I think as a joke since I do not care for KISS). You walk in a room and told to stand in front of them. Click Click two photo's and the next group is walking in. Rush is not that bad, but at most a sentance or two and you will never see Neil.

Is it really possible to have more than a two sentence conversation with KISS (that you'd actually want to have)?

That Kiss meet and greet they sold in 2013 was like 50 passes at $750 per person per show.

$37,500 for 15 minutes of work?

X 50 shows

$1,875,000 Gene = Greddy Genius

wow, 1k is serious coin for a meet and greet. I was lucky enough to get one on the C&A tour through a friend who has ties in the music industry. I knew it was quick and I wouldn't be chit chatting with Geddy and Alex....but the thing that stood out was Geddy was extremely aloof and visibly upset about something that particular afternoon. You could see it in all of the M&G photos that day. Maybe he was annoyed that something went wrong at soundcheck--who knows. I wasn't upset--the man owes me nothing and we all have our bad days. I am very grateful though to have the photo and for the opportunity in general....but paying that money for a 2- second M&G is insane. If you have that much extra cash laying around, buy a front row seat (or with today's prices, put it towards a front row seat).

Some on here who has one a contest must have credit card bills to pay

Nobody has won any contests yet, LOL. As has been mentioned, they won't know 'til a day or two before their show.

There's zero chance you're going to talk anyone outta giving up their meet and greet for a grand, bud. It just ain't gonna happen. Your best chance is to try and win contests like the rest of the fanbase.

I dont think he will find anyone on this site that will sell them on this site, but they could have received a couple and not have anyone in mind for the second pass. Best bet would be radio station winners. Back in '88 when Zeppelin did the Madsion Square Garden show. a few Zep fans called around the country finding contest winners and got tickets to the show that way. I don't lnow how they got the info since this was pre internet days but they went o that length to secure tickets.

Thanks for all the advice! I think that I am going to have a mask made that resembles Alex and just sneak into the backstage room. Not sure if that can get me past the "hard perimeter" though

Whatever you do, don't eat Neil's sandwich.

Sure,

I would love to meet them. But the only way I would pay $1,000.00 bucks is if it were money from winning the lottery. :D

I'd love to meet them, but the only way I'd pay $1000 is if that meant I could spend a couple hours with them, such as having a nice dinner with them. I probably wouldn't even go to a M&G if I won the tickets because it doesn't really mean anything to me to stand next to them for 10 seconds when they don't know you from Adam. I'd rather sell those tix for $1000! :P

It depends on the situation, I had met Eric Singer a few times where it was he had to do the meet and Greet or signing. Found him to be somewhat cold and told my friends this. They are actually friends in real life with him. Last year after the last show at the Vegas residency friends and I where eating at a restaurant at the Hard Rock. Eric walks in and spots my friends so he joins us at the table. We ended up hanging out for 90-120 minutes and we had a hreat conversation about music and everything else under the sun.

I agree that talking to the public KISS is not worth your time, but if you can talk yo them as a regular person they will be alot different from what the public persona is.

Meet and greets are hit and miss. It depends on the artist and their management policies. Some are great, where you can actually chat for a few minutes. Some are literally 20 second photo ops only. Best way to meet an artist and have real, genuine face time with them is to gain access to green rooms, or VIP areas before or after a show. Almost invariably that involves knowing somebody rather than paying for access.

If I had em, I'd sell for $1000 in a heartbeat. But since I have no interest in obtaining one, it's unlikely I'd ever have one.

For a $1000 I'd want Neil to drive me in his '67 Corvette to go look at a 1980 Corvette I'm interested in buying. I'd also want Neil on his back inspecting the frame for rust and acciendent damage.

One thing that I will say - where you are as good looking as me things just happen in your favor :) I know that many of you watch porn and think about girls, however I get sex a lot therefore it is not big deal :)

Thanks for clarifying that. I was thinking you were probably really good looking and were not at all a 37 year old virgin living in his mother's basement just based on the quality of your posts. And that is so cool that you have an extra thousand dollars to spend on meet & greets! Wow, cool.

I often sniff my sisters panties :) I also look in the mirror and pretend I am with myself :) for some reason female panties smell like cheese, eggs, and fetal pig

I use my golden retriever to get women to give me the sex. My wife don't like it. :(

There was a Pay for Meet and Greet with Motley Crue on Last years farewell tour.

It was like $400 per person...however in the fine print it said specifically

You will get to meet and greet Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx.

Tommy Lee will NOT be a part of this promotion.

I wish I had saved this, because it offered NO explanation why.

Most women have pliable minds. It has to do with endorphins - the easiest place to hookup is at a bit concert. Women can help how simple brained they are :)

They sure can help it!
