  1. 1. Which concept album do you love the most? The second side of "2112" does not count.

I Think "Tommy" is better than "2112."

Some of you Rush Fanbois may say that I'm insane and that this is indeed a Rush Forum but fukk it guys!

I'm bored.

I would rather post this poll down here in MOTS than in the Rush section because I truly believe that "Tommy" is by far a much better concept album than "2112."

So be it Analog Kids!

I'm a Digital Man!

"TOMMY" IS THE EASY WINNER HEAR I MEAN HERE! LOL!

PETE TOWNSHEND IS A GOD!

Geddy Alex and Neil are mortal men.

Love Always,

Don't know the difference between the human or divine nature of the musicians involved, but Pete Townshend has proved to be the best music composer ever.

I wish Pete himself had remembered in the last 35/40 years, but after Tommy, Who's Next and Quadrophenia he could have retired selling potatoes and we'd adore him anyway.

In the meanwhile a Canadian trio has written their epic anyway....

Both Tommy and Quadrophenia are better than 2112. All three are epics but the storytelling and depth of concepts are a bit deeper on The Who albums.

I went with 2112.

Musically it just blows my mind when I listen to it. I'm still dumbfounded that RUSH was able to pull off such an epic complex song as 2112.

Tommy just kind of feels like the same themes repeated over and over agin throughout the album.

Haven't listened to all of Quadraphenia, but from what I've heard from it I like it.

I'm keeping out of this, but I'm going with 2112 anyway. :ebert:

Earl will pull my ears off! :o

Hahahahaha! You better run! You better you better you bet!! LOL I'm coming after those ears!

This truly is an odd poll. 6 votes for Quadraphenia. Who would have thought?

"Tommy" does seem repetitive. Alas it's still an epic classic just like "Q."

Many people may not like Townshend for his so called "off the stage behavior" but the man is a genius.

It's quite "Pure And Easy" to understand that.

Well...I have to admit It took me a long time to appreciate The Who. I love Who's Next and Live At Leeds, but Tommy and Quadraphenia...I've tried many times, haven't worked out I'm afraid
