Oh, and I've had Hold the Line playing in my head for about the past two hours, thanks to you lot! Haha!

Also, I watched a video of them live last night and there was a long instrumental section where Luke got on Dave's keyboard and he was really f***ing good! There appears to be no end to his talents :notworthy:

Steve Lukather is AMAZING, and I have never been shy in saying that I think Toto are made up of the most extremely gifted musicians in their genre. Say what you like about their songs, but no band comes close to Toto. Not even Rush.

(You don't have to agree haha).

I actually agree and I feel bad for it. Like, it's nice to watch recent videos of a band performing live and not have to worry about whether the singer's gonna hit the notes (Sorry, Ged) :codger:

Me too. I'm bigger into AOR in general then prog to be honest.

Prog is great but man. does it bogged down in it's own pompousness.

I love so many different types of music, I cannot really say what my preferred genre is. That's why I go through so many phases! I just enjoy music, and I no longer care for labels (although they do come in handy when researching new artists).

Currently, my fave artists are Taylor Swift, Nightwish, Yes, Toto and Sonata Arctica, with a large dollop of Within Temptation.

And the only one of those that I've listened to at all, really, is Yes (I still have Toto on the horizon, of course, and Nightwish I listened to...umm...one day :P ).

The bulk of my listening in the past couple of weeks (latest music crushes, both new and old) has been Jethro Tull, Bjork, and the Black Crowes.

Well, Mick is right. I am going to have to watch it, at some point soon. (Is it available to see on YouTube or something? I know...for shame! But funds are tight right now).
