1966! He died so I could be born!!!!!!!!

I was born that same year and I apologize to anyone who lost his life in those days; I thought there was room enough....

Actually i was born in 1967 but, I was conceived in 1966, so technically I've been here on planet earth since June 1966...

I knew about the 'Paul is dead' thing, years back, yeah.

Based on how his voice sounds now, I wouldn't be surprised if he had died and been secretly replaced any number of times since 1966.

Keith Richards has been dead since then too. They just keep carting out the old dead one though. No need to replace him.

That explains why he looks the way he does.

Omg..! :P (I'm really sorry, Lorraine - your comment made me laugh! )

I heard the news about Paul being dead around ten years back.

Having said that, the same goes for Andy Kaufman. I still don't know whether he's really gone or he's faking it.

It's a great piece of pop culture and funny as anything. It even crossed over to other media, like this:

Which takes a U-turn on the theory...

I've never seen this before - wonder if it's still available?

On the internet you can find the scans easily... I don't think it's in paperback format, not that I'd know... You can probably find the original comic book in good shops.

I want to say there have been books written about this. They usually run alongside stories people have claiming that they've seen Elvis still alive...(check out youtube and there's an interesting video of someone claiming that Elvis was an extra in the movie Home Alone)

Hmmm-I heard one that said EP is still kicking and working in a K-Mart in Kalamazoo, MI

Of course he could have wound up workin in a gas station, pumping the gas all day and night.

I thought it was a big mistake when they left Bubba out of the TV series. I thought he was great in the books.

I heard the news today. Oh boy.

Put it this way: I was a little late in hearing about this. By the time I'd got wind of it, the story had already done the rounds.

Chris Farley: O-kay.. remember.. you remember when you were with The Beatles, and you were supposed to be dead, and, uh, there was all these clues, that, like, uh, you played some song backwards, and it'd say, like, "Paul Is Dead", and, uh, everyone thought that you were dead? That was, um, a hoax, right?

Paul McCartney: Yeah. I wasn't really dead.
