RUSHHEAD666 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Guys, I watched "Back To School" last night and it still withstands the test of time! It's incredible! Dangerfield's kid is also in "Christine." Great fukking movie too. I also thing the tall girlfriend in the movie is also his girlfriend in "Christine!" Check it out! I think it's true! Anyway the one liners and the wit of Rodney still rule! "If you want to look thin then hang out with fat people!" "You're fat and short" "Well you're tall and ugly, give me back my pen!" "I'd like to tame your shrew!" "Shakespeare for everyone!" Robert Downey Jr. is in this flick! Does he every age? All the fukking drugs he pumped into his body and he looks 30 today. I don't get it. Danny Elfman did the score to the picture, and his band Oingo Boingo is in the film performing "Dead Man's Party." Fuckking Jack Skellington singing in a killer band from the 80's! Rodney Dangerfield is so amazing. I love him. He has beautiful blue eyes. Yes, I have "Back To School on blu-ray. Time for some "Caddyshack!" Epic as well! Did you know that Rodney discovered Andrew Dice Clay? Two Legends! That older blonde woman who is the English teacher is a MILF.I think she does the Hidden Valley Ranch commercials today. 2
Digital Dad Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 "...and the person who wrote this paper doesn't know the first thing about Kurt Vonnegut. ...and another thing Vonnegut, I'm gonna stop payment on the check. F*&^k me? F(&^k You!!!" "Your father, he's like me, nice and tough. Look one son I put thru College, the other I put thru a wall" "Why don't you call me sometime, when you have no class" "I have only one question. In 37 parts" Sally Kellerman played the original Hotlips in the MASH movie Great flick. 2
invisible airwave Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Of course, it's not a true 80s college or high school movie without Zabka as the bully. "I've got a really bad cramp. I've been having really bad cramps all week,""It's probably menstrual.""Screw you, Melon." 1
ReRushed Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Whoever did write this doesn't know the first thing about Kurt Vonnegut! 1
invisible airwave Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 How would you categorize The Great Gatsby? He was, uh...great!
bathory Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I usually don't join in on quote threads, and this probably isn't an accurate quote, but f**k it: we can talk about joyce, she's my favorite writer!
bathory Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 here's something cool - we had a list of classic movies to vote for to watch in a film class. mostly serious stuff like pulp fiction, schindler's list...imdb top 50 sorta stuff. and then, bam, out of nowhere I see "Back To School (1986)." no one voted for it, of course, but I thought it was funny, since this class is supposed to focus on like, movies with symbolism and a bunch of smart shit.
BasqueNYC Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 My fav and my father who was a Korean War vet saw this part was clapping and laffing cause that what they should have done! Also I love when sam rips the chair out and throws it I was in the theater seein that and laughed so hard lol Professor Terguson: You remember that thing we had about 30 years ago called the Korean conflict? And how we failed to achieve victory? How come we didn't cross the 38th parallel and push those rice-eaters back to the Great Wall of China?Professor Terguson: [rips a desk apart] Then take the f***ing wall apart[shouts]Professor Terguson: brick by brick and nuke them back into the f***ing stone age forever? Tell me why! How come? Say it! Say it!Thornton Melon: [incensed] All right. I'll say it. 'Cause Truman was too much of a *pussy wimp* to let MacArthur go in there[shouts]Thornton Melon: and blow out those Commie bastards!Professor Terguson: Good answer. Good answer. I like the way you think. I'm gonna be watching you.
