Thanks! It's 24 karat gold. I originally wanted brass but the guy who did it talked me into the gold whch actually cost less than the brass because he would have had to custom order brass letters but already had the gold on hand. I personally don't know much about them other than I looked at them a while back and I remember thinking they sat too high in my hand. I just didn't like the feel.
