Ripping cd's to the hard drive of my computer in mp3 format; thenSyncing the mp3's to my mp3 player, which mostly gets plugged into the usb port in my car. Beats the ass out of lugging cd's around. Although it would probably be better to rip to an external drive in case the computer crashes. My friend John has a 10 TB external drive for just some of his music, but needs another one to hold a library of some 700 7" reel to reel tapes. Most of these are old gigs, but he's got a few recordings that probably no longer have external sources. I rarely use Redbox but I finally got a coupon rental offer for streaming since I don’t own DVDs or a player anymore. Heard good things about it which is nice.
