Interesting set...

Has he played Porcupine Tree songs live with the solo group before or is this a first? Also, I don't understand why they wouldn't just play the album in full without interruption. In any case it'll be a great show

He played Radioactive Toy during the encore of the last tour. I think he played Trains one or two shows. I like how he broke up HCE - some interesting choices that weaves moods in. Encore is 1 prog epic, 1 modern slightly electronic song (Sleep together always makes me think NIN) and 1 songwriter special (and a great one at that!) It will be a great show.

Trains was played as the opening song for the last leg of the European tour in support of TRTRTS. I for one love the fact that he closes the encore with the best song off of the last album. Dig the setlist, but I'm quite bummed that Transcience is not on the set (quite a beautiful piece IMO) even though SW he'll play the whole of the album. Also, I wish he could've played at least one Delerium-era PT song that's not Radioactive Toy since he claims they're "solo" albums...Fadeaway would be the preferable song for me.

Yeah very good!!

I think Wilson has got the mood and atmosphere right for this one.

I'll need more listens to really finish my aural inner picturescape on it though...

Did you go to the gig?

My copy arrives Thursday. I am very much looking forward to this. I hope he comes to South Florida or at least somewhere in Florida. I would love to see him live solo. I have only seen him with Porcupine Tree 2 times in concert (and was blown away).

Like most of his music it sounds great on the headphones.

Agreed - and then again, another experience entirely in 5.1.

Totally f***ing blown away.

His best solo record. And I loved Raven.

This is a monumental sonic acheivement for Steve. The mood swings are incredible, the playing is top notch. And of course the production is flawless.

Amazing album.

From what I've heard so far I'm completely bored.

Fuckking drum machine shite and a woman always talking?

Amazing modern prog? Poppy and shallow.

Raven blows this Zzzzzzz record away!

Guess I'm not s Rush Wilson Worshipper.

Boo. Hiss.
