Distant Signals Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Hello Rush Fans, Saturday September 27th at The Brothers Lounge in Cleveland, OH will mark our 5 year anniversary of Distant SIgnals very first show. We will be celebrating at the venue with a room full of Rush fans, raising our drinks, and toasting 5 years of playing the music of Rush. I would like everyone to join in from wherever you may be at approximately 9:25PM EST to celebrate our accomplishment, the joy of the music of Rush, and the union of Rush fans and friends that we have all developed over the years. Please join us by taking a moment to "draw another goblet... from the cask of 43..." and help us with our anniversary toast. Thank you everyone, and if you are able to make the show it will be an EPIC event. 2
Lorraine Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I will be with you in spirit. If I remember. :codger: 3
Lost In Xanadu Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 In your toast, if you get to give a cool speech, please make sure to thank me for all I do to support you. Something as simple as "I would like to thank Lost in Xanadu for everything he has done. Without him, I really don't know where I'd be. He inspires me to dig deep, challenge myself, and be better at everything I do." Like I said, keep it simple. 6
Lorraine Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 That's right. And don't forget to mention me too. ;) 2

Distant Signals Posted September 25, 2014 Author Posted September 25, 2014 Will do Lorraine. It was quite a surreal enviroment back in January. We fully expect an even larger crowd coupled with our anniversary and a very special guest to introduce us. 1
Lorraine Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Will do Lorraine. It was quite a surreal enviroment back in January. We fully expect an even larger crowd coupled with our anniversary and a very special guest to introduce us. It is all the more special because if it wasn't for Donna Halper and Cleveland, who knows what would have happened to Rush? We all owe her a lot of gratitude and have much to thank her for. Take pictures too so you can post them for us.
