daveyt Posted July 30, 2005 Share Posted July 30, 2005 either the press have no balls or they just let BIG PAPI continue to stick his foot in his mouth. i respect the fact that players incubate themselves from reading the newspapers but in this case they should read and take note. MANRAM wanting to leave the BOSOX is not a rumor so when BIG PAPI said to the press that you shouldn't believe the rumors and how could you fuel the rumors after all MANRAM'S done, he says, "can you answer me that?" UH YEAH! if i were a reporter i'd tell him the facts! -about the reports on MANRAM'S request for a trade- give PAPI a clue folks. i guess they didn't want to disrespect him on camera. instead, the reporters just stuck a mike in his face and let him continue. i would have helped BIG PAPI! then i would have more clout with him for a future story. dan shaugnessay had a rgeat story in the boston globe today, distinguishing "manny being manny" vs. "manny's crimes against baseball" shaugnessay is awesome Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
