Wait a second ... there appears to be water falling from the sky. That's not supposed to happen in California!

Beautiful!

Hell yeah. We could marvel at some natural spectacles here in the last days. Wonderful cloud formations.

Here's one from two days ago.

Sorry folks had to post this. I am so f**king proud of my lawn this year. I had this house built and have lived here almost 15 years and my lawn has been sh*tty at least 12 of those years. I put some sod down in places this spring, overseeded, spread some black cow and have watered like crazy (by hand as I have no sprinkler system) and I got results finally. It didn't cost a boatload of money just alot of my sweat but it makes me proud. Also a shot out my back slider of Misty laying on "her" bench. No human ever sits in it but the cats love it......

Please ignore the dying annual in the pink pot....

You're lawn looks great!! I enjoy spending time in my yard too. It's very relaxing. All of your hard work has certainly paid off.

Yard work is gratifying and good exercise too. Then to step back and see the fruits of your labor. Life doesn't get much better then that in my view. I only have 3 potted plants. F**k'em is right.......

Here are a few shots of my yard:

Side of back yard. This is probably my favorite garden section. I have since added more bird feeders. There are SO many birds in this area now. The cats love to camp out in the windows and "crackle" at the birds.

And then there are the squirrels... I love squirrels but they are c*cky little SOBs! (You'll have to excuse the large reflection. I snapped the photo from inside the house.)

‘Going Bananas.’ It’s one of the longest blooming daylilies. Such a beautiful yellow.

I've been keeping track of everything I plant and snapping photos to keep a little journal going to ensure I manage my plants the right way. Very Virgo of me.

I've never seen hydrangeas that were such a deep blue. They're really pretty.

It looks like it's trying to lure someone in for the sake of devouring them.

Perhaps it'll nab some of those squirrels.
