70's- 2113

80's- Limelight

90's- Double Agent

00's- Armor And Sword

10's- Clockwork Angels

Quite a dull list, methinks, but honest and true!

For me, Limelight is tied with Prime Mover for the 80's, but otherwise I have the exact same list. :ebert:

Those aren't eras... they're decades.

Here's how I break down the "RUSH eras"

RUSH - CoS: In The End

2112 - Hemispheres: Prelude

PeW - Signals: Red Barchetta

P/g! - HYF: Grand Designs

Presto - T4E: Available Light

VT - CA: Headlong Flight

70's- 2113

Is that the sequel to 2112? :outtahere:

Yes. It was the lead off track to A Farewell To Queens.

I have to name a few:

70's - La Villa, gosh - all of them

80's - all of Pew, Red Barchetta, YYZ, Limelight, Subdivisions, The Analog Kid, New World Man, Marathon, Chain Lightning (although this is 90's to me)

90's - Dreamline, Where's My Thing, Cut to the Chase, Driven

00's - One Little Victory, Earthshine, Secret Touch, Ceiling Unlimited, Far Cry, Mal Nar,

10's - BU2B, The Anarchist, Headlong Flight

It would actually be easier for me to name songs I don't like by period...

Ok I went by decade...now by era:

Rush-2112: 2112/Bastille Day

AFTK-MP: Witch Hunt/Limelight

Signals-HYF: Marathon

Presto-T4E: Double Agent/Available Light

VT-CA: Clockwork Angels/Headlong Flight

Sorry I picked two...but I can't choose between a lot of them!

Wow. Looking at back at these lists all I can think to myself is... the 90's were horrible. Seeing people's favorites makes me realize how not in the zone they were then.

My favorite was Mal Nar cause it's only 2:18 long.

Three 90s albums to choose from (as opposed to how many in the 70s . . . seven?)--slim pickings, I guess.

I guess but you'd come up with a better list if it was "what is your favorite song from (whatever album from the 70's).

Every album had some real gems on it. Not just OK tunes, fantastic songs. In the 90's? Meh... I'll put on Hemispheres.

70s 1) Xanadu 2) 2112 3) La Villa Strangiato

80s) 1) Natural Science 2) Red Barchetta 3) Freewill

90s) 1) Dreamline 2) Driven

00s) 1) Ceiling Unlimited 2) Sweet Miracle

10s) 1) The Anarchist 2) Headlong Flight 3) BU2B

There are conservatively 20 songs from both the 70s and 80s that are better than anything other than the 2 listed for the 90s and better than anything in the 00s

Listend to CA once, was underwhelmed, never gave it a second spin.....will have to get round to it some day.
