Here are a few pics of the Camellias I have in my backyard. I have one on either side of the patio and they have grown and done really well over the years since I planted them. They bloom very late after fall and going into winter. Love these guys...

Gorgeous! Almost look like they're made out of tissue paper.

What beautiful weather you had for visiting!! Thanks for the photos of the Flatiron building, I love it! I have a replica for my Christmas village that we set up some years when we get organized enough to get the stuff out! :D

You have a replica Flatiron for a Christmas village?

JELLY!

I'll have to try to find a photo! We made a family trip to Manhattan one time (a few times actually) but I (apparently) wouldn't shut up about the architecture of the Flatiron building or the Brooklyn Bridge that day. It has been kind of a family joke since, including the gift of the building . . . .

I actually drove SOUTH on the FDR yesterday from the upper east side, and saw many bridges, including the 59th Street Bridge (feelin' groovy,) and the Brooklyn Bridge (Saturday Night Fever!)

I never guessed I would have ever made that drive, but I'm so glad that I did!

That sounds awesome! I love to see how different bridges are suspended! I wouldn't know how to drive there, for sure. People from this area usually take the train, a bus trip for the day, or drive to the NJ ferry terminal and take the ferry over to Manhattan.

It's so cool to see the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a marvel of engineering. The supplies were brought there by horse and wagon, and it was built with only the most basic of power tools; mostly hand tools, shovels, and dynamite.

Photo of the Christmas Eve full moon and the house across the street from my parents. Just a snapshot, so I couldn't quite do what I wanted. Hope you can see the 75 year old spruce trees behind these people's home!

Uinta Mountains of Utah. Specifically, Bald Mountain, here: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6912243,-110.9025771,3040m/data=!3m1!1e3

Elev. 11,940'. This state is fantastic.
