Was out shopping, stopped at a Dickie's Barbecue Pit,  downed a 2 meat combo.  Brisket was really good, but the jalapeno and cheddar sausage a bit too spicy.  Potato salad and barbecue beans decent.  Definitely worth another visit, guy next to me said wings and pulled pork were very good.

Huge homemade salad. 

 

Lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, cucumbers, red peppers, Greek olives, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, red wine vinaigrette

A large bowl of Gabalong tea. I love the green, fresh, sweet taste and scent of it. I often brew the leaves two or three times to enjoy the changing taste. For my breakfast I also have a cup of fat-free cottage cheese and a big slice of traditional thin, unleavened oat bread with Emmentaler. :happy:

Creative leftovers for breakfast! 

I peeled and diced two apples and fried them up with butter, sugar and cinnamon.   

I then fried up leftover mashed potatoes with leftover bacon until light brown.

Spooned the apples on top of the bacon-potatoes, then added shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

 

It was really good.  :thumbsup:
