The Hubble Deep Field Just Got Deeper

This Hubble Ultra Deep Field 2014 image is a composite of separate exposures taken in 2003 to 2012. It contains around 10,000 galaxies, which is insignificant compared to the utter vastness of the Universe...... :o

was it surgically enhanced? Is that why the Hubble can go deeper now?

 

2003-12 is some staying power, though!

In fact, the Hubble's original optics controls went only to "10".

 

But they made same adjustments.....
