Geddy's Soul Patch
Elevator music. Best elevator music ever!Take your time. I'm taking the stairs. I can understand not enjoying the chorus, but the verses and bridge both have some great Alex riffage! Not to mention the great solo!
toymaker
Elevator music. Best elevator music ever!Take your time. I'm taking the stairs. I can understand not enjoying the chorus, but the verses and bridge both have some great Alex riffage! Not to mention the great solo!I just can't seem to warm up to those songs that have a clash between awesome and cheesy. Examples I've cited before: The Big Wheel (coolish guitar and then suddenly "playing for time, don't want to wait for heaven"), Chain Lightning (righteous guitar and then: "sun dogs fire, on the horizon"). Hand Over Fist suffers from the same thing. Actually, the title describes it quite well: a song that should smash, but it's given these little pats to calm it down.
Mr. Not
I dislike half of Presto, and this song is on the better half. If they decide to do another CA tour-like setlist where it's strangely packed with 80's synth tunes... Then why not throw it in?
