This is tough because I don't know how you define an "obscure" Rush song. Are the obscure songs the ones that never get played on the radio?

 

I don't find any of their songs obscure since so many songs that don't get radio play but are of such high quality...Natural Science anyone?

I defined it as not in heavy rotation on tour or radio. Prior to the TfE tour, I would have said Natural Science was obscure, but I am pretty sure they played that right up through r30. My memory is fading a little.

I would say it is semi obscure....I picked Entre Nous as it has only been played once.

Nobody really talks much about Ghost of a Chance, though. Power Windows is another one of those albums where it's hard to pick an obscure song since that album is full of popular stuff except Emotion Detector, which I don't really like.

Ghost of a Chance is the song that got my brother, and consequently me, into Rush. It was a radio staple and live song featured on DVD. Power Windows' songs have been recorded live, but most remain unknown to casual rock fans. You can choose many obscure songs from the album, but Middletown is beloved by the 80s fans and has been played live a lot, but I really don't like the song. To answer your question, I love the early, raw power of the band, but even though I've come love the synth period, there are lots of weak songs between PoW-CP, and you seem to love songs that I'm not a big fan of.
