First of all, thank you to all my wonderful friends who are constant supports for me. I couldn't get through a day without you. I love you all. heart.gif

Paul, no need for thanks, but you are so very welcome. I'm glad I could help. hug2.gif

MH, Fridge is right - there are NO limits for you as far as education goes. I'd be willing to bet you are an extremely intelligent young man. Get tested, get some help with study skills, etc. and the sky's the limit.

And finally, here is Mr. Stephen - he just wouldn't smile for me, though.

GG, that's cool about your son smile.gif

I should be back home in June, so I'll look into getting tested around about then. Oh, and with the uni thing, it was more about living away from home, a long way from it infact, having to do things for myself. The actual learning is no problem; the only thing that has ever held me back academically is my own laziness unsure.gif

The paragraph at the end about the child having a tantrum in the store, that did hit home. I saw something like this on my train ride (40 minutes each way; so glad I work at home now) home a year or two ago. I just for the life of me didn't understand what the hell was wrong, but it later dawned on me that this was a distinct possibility.

Congrats on getting your article published, GG. Articles like these are very important.

wub.gif great pics, GG. My son, Timothy, is totally into The Jungle Book right now. common001.gif He likes to watch the movie repeatedly, pausing it when things in the story are in mid-air. biggrin.gif

Something to keep in mind with these rapidly growing boys, is new shoes. Tim has been doing much better behaviorly since he got the trampoline for Christmas. I think he bounces a lot of his frustrations out.

Anyway, he started getting unmanageable again just recently...hitting teachers, throwing toys, and refusing to follow directions in general. It occurred to me, probably a few weeks too late (stupid mom sad.gif ) that his shoes were too small for his feet. I got him a new pair that day, and he's a new kid, all cooperative and smiles...well, as can be expected.

So I just want to remind all those parents out there how quickly they grow. And they can't always tell us, or even identify themselves, the things that are bothering them, like shoes that are too small.

Excellent advice, Roli. You have to be one step ahead of the game with these kids, since they can't always speak for themselves. Exactly right. yes.gif

We can't let Stephen have the remote or access to the VCR buttons - he would pause and fast-forward constantly. It's too much of a stim for him. He still tries to sneak past us when we're changing tapes though. smile.gif
