I can't begin to tell you how much I love this song. It's about nothing, but full of meaning. I especially love Robert Gotobed's drumming. Sometimes being simple is the best.

Me too, this has always been one of my very favorite songs. Along with Map Reference, probably my favorite Wire song. Perfect.

At the moment it is Wilt- Distortion. Such a great song, I have no idea why this band did not become huge at the start of the millennium. Their album My Medicine is pop rock perfection!

I've been listening to The Police "A doo doo doo, a da da da" in my head lately. Heard it on the radio the other day and it stuck with me. I don't remember liking it before but the lyrics mean more to me than in the 80's when they used to play it constantly on radio I guess...

Doyle Bramhall II - Blame

I saw you go away

with the sun

You walked out the door

what have you done

Jagged cold stones

at your feet

Cold water over me

I'm drunk on the memories

But I can't go on this way

I've wasted years just to hear you say

Blame

Say what you want to say

Blame

Who do you want me to be

We could write the book on sorrow and pain

Leopard skinned and lion willed

Outside eclipsed

Holding time

You had so much love to spare

I'm blind with with my head in the air

But I can't go on this way

I've wasted years just to hear you say

Blame

Say what you want to say

Blame

Who do you want me to be

Blame

Blame

Silver roots run through my veins

moon dance alone what a shame

And I don't want to go on this way

I've wasted years just to hear you say

Blame

Say what you want to say

Blame

Who do you want me to be

Blame

Blame

Every once in a while I get reminded of this and then it grabs a hold of me for a week.
