Why do people still use iPods when you can have music on you phone these days?

Why would you listen to music on a crappy phone speaker? Everything has their purpose, the iPod is for music and the phone is for calls, texts and now, the internet. I don't need to have everything on my phone. Plus, with a music collection as big as mine, the iPod is the ideal device to have it on when you're not at home.

And I dont have all my music on my phone, only a few Rush albums. Because I only listen to one or two albums each time I am out. Rest of the music is on my computer.

I have a lot of music on my phone because I can play it in my car via bluetooth or by plugging it in. Works like an iPod but don't have to carry the iPod around with me in addition to my phone.

aghhhh I want, like, a 32 or OMG a 60 gig ipod someday!!! I would fill that sucker up!!!

I have an 8 gig. my very first ipod was 2 gig- 500 songs? HA!

So I settled for 8 gig lol

I have 1347 songs on it right now. Rush, AC/DC and Cheap Trick all have over 200 songs on it- Rammstein is the next highest, with a whopping 59 LOL

How can you pull that off? My iPod is also 8 gig, but I have trouble getting more than 600. Are your files all lower quality, because most of my songs come from the CD's which I insist on getting a physical copy of.

Mine holds 160GB, and it's ALL music- I don't have pics or videos or whatever else on it, even thought I could. I have, like I said, about 4400-4500 songs that add up to about 125 GB- quite a few of those tunes are up close to a half hour long. (Yeah, I like that kind of stuff). ;)

Mine's a 160 too. Wedged. 18000 tunes, no room left.

I'm quite confident that, over time, I could fill a 160 gig. They're just so expensive! Lol

I've got a 160 GB iPod with 80~GB filled. I own 500 CD's and they are all on it. If I were to start downloading music I could easily fill it within a month.

I currently have 157.26 GB in my iTunes. I don't bother copying it all over to my iPod—I just keep 50 or so albums on there at a time, so I don't lose track of what I want to listen to.

AC/DC - Touch Too Much

I'm not sure if I've heard that song since high school! It used to be my favourite AC/DC song.

14. Nevermore - Noumenon

Yum! I've been on a big Nevermore kick the past couple of months, and get a kick out of seeing them on other people's playlists.
