What are the greatest lines Geddy has ever sung?

My favorites:

"All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players, performers and portrayers…" (Limelight)

"…In the available light!" (Available Light)

"Sound and fury drown my heart—every nerve is torn apart!" (Cygnus X-1, Book I: The Voyage)

"My lifeblood…spills over…" (2112, Part VI: Soliloquy)

Just a few I can think of for now .

The clouds prepare for battle

In the dark and brooding silence.

Bruised and sullen stormclouds

Have the light of day obscured.

Looming low and ominous

In twilight premature

Thunderheads are rumbling

In a distant overture...

Some will sell their dreams for small desires

Or lose the race to rats

Get caught in ticking traps

And start to dream of somewhere

To relax their restless flight

Somewhere out of a memory of lighted streets on quiet nights...

"If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice" - is the one that always stuck in my head from Freewill.

"In a world of cut and thrust I was always taught to trust" - BU2B

"We break the surface tension with our wild kinetic dreams" - Grand Designs (Two science vocabulary terms in one line has to count for something)

"Sometimes the angels punish us by answering our prayers" - Carnies

"What do you lack?" - Not "sung" but so damn sexy. One of my first memories of a Rush concert is Geddy looking right towards my section while saying this. I thought I was going to pass out.

"Sometimes the angels punish us by answering our prayers."

"Grace to grace, immaculate vision of what could have been."

"A gentle hand, a secret touch on the heart"

Pretty much all of "Dreamline".

"Experience to extremes."

Celebrate the moment, As it turns into one more, Another chance at victory, Another chance to score

The way out, Is the way in, The way out, Is the way in...

All my life I've been workin' them angels overtime

One day I feel I'm on top of the world, And the next it's falling in on me, I can get back on, I can get back on

"The hypocrites are slandering

The sacred Halls of Truth

Ancient nobles showering

Their bitterness on youth

Can't we find the minds that made us strong?

Can't we learn to feel what's right

And what's wrong?"

Oh was it paradise?

They battled through the ages but still neither force would yield. The people were divided. Every soul a battlefield.

Christ what have you done?

Somehow we have stayed, in a state of grace.

The whole song is one of my very favourite of Geddy's vocal performances. It's sublimely ridiculous!
