Narps
No surprise there. Caress Of Steel always gets the shaft. No Bastille Day at least? Be serious.... :)
LedRush
Permanent Waves was written, recorded, mixed, marketed and shipped in the 1970s. I'd add Spirit of the Radio, La Villa, the Necromancer, By Tor and take off Something for Nothing, Fly By Night, Finding My Way and A Passage to Bangkok (I love those songs too, but there's a lot of material to choose from). Pause Rewind Replay
Hmmm... 6 of his top 10 are also in mine, just different order: :D-13: 1. 2112 The whole brilliant thing.2. Something For Nothing3. What You're Doing (ATWAS)4. Anthem (ATWAS)5. The Trees6. Bastille Day7. A Passage To Bangkok8. AFTK9. Xanadu10. Working Man Extremely honorable mention to Cinderella Man. It physically hurt to leave that off. P.S. for Narpzilla: Other than Bastille Day and the OK Lakeside Park, the rest of CoS deserved the shaft. And possibly should have been thrown down one :D Edited February 15, 2014 by Pause Rewind Replay
YYZumbi
This is really hard for me, since I love all Rush songs, and the 70,s are my favorite part of Rush, but I will try and make a top 10 list. 1. The Fountain Of Lamneth (Why couldent they play this more live?)2. 2112 (a masterpiece, but everybody knows it, thats why its on secon place)3. Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres (Just a great story, I love it!)4. Cygnus X-1 Book I: The Voyage (Geddy singing so cool here!)5. Xanadu (another masterpiece)6. By-Tor And The Snow Dog (Its about a dog, kinda funny!)7. The Necromancer (a good song, but I dont listen to it that much)8. Circumstances (Awesome song, but to short)9. La Villa Strangiato (The best instrumental song in the whole world, noeone have made a better one, not even Rush!)10. A Farewell To Kings (a good song, but to be honest kinda simple) I know I have forgot alot of great songs, but since I can only use 10 songs, this is the way that I had to chose, and I will probarly have a different list tomorow.
