agubrizbassman
This goes along with my Geddy topic.... I would say the classic, the Gibson ES 355 You've got a lot to think of haha such as:-Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess, The Red Fender Stratocaster, or even the Gibson 1275 etc... Alex has at least 4 PRS's that I know of. Black, Black/Grey, Red, Blue. I think there's another one in there as well.

EagleMoon
For tone you just can't beat the ES-355. Every time he brings it out on stage it sounds huge. I wish he would play it more. I kind of understand why he doesn't though, it's not quite as versatile as the Axcess. At least for live shows.

Thunder Bay Rush
Alex playing the ES 355 brings back my best Rush memories... the Hemispheres Tour. That gets my vote...
PolarizeMe
The ES-355...that looked cool on him. I also thought that Candy Apple Red Strat with the mirror pickguard in the Distant Early Warning video looked awesome. I wished he used that one more than the black and white Strats. JARG
Alex's tone is a pretty complex thing...whatever combination of guitars/amps/fx he used on FBN & COS gets my vote.
