At the speed of love nothing changes faster than the speed of love.....

Umm, I think that that is, unfortunately, correct.

Oops. I thought maybe I was mishearing them.....

Middletown dreams I keep hearing:

"...and life's not unpleasant in your living neighbourhood"

as opposed to:

"...and life's not unpleasant in your little neighbourhood"

Battle flags are flown at the feet of a garden gnome.

I kinda like it better than the actual lyric. :D

One day I feel I'm ahead of the wheel and the next it's rolling over me. I can get back home, I can get back home...

Wait a minute...

"Well you sail there, but I can see that your other plan" ??? (Here Again).

I'm certain these are way off, but I don't know what the actual lyrics are.

The lyrics found on the above thread (for the first album) look right, but is there a source for these? Just someone with a good ear?

The one from CA that I noticed from first listen is from Anarchist....."a missing part of me that grows around my lucky cage".

Best I Can

I gotta live in the truck, a future that's f*cked....

you know what I mean.

:laughing guy:

In high school, I let a buddy who was really into metal (Anthrax, Slayer..) borrow 2112. He loved it, mostly because he thought Geddy was singing, "We are the priests of the Devil, as he seeks!" The idea that Rush were Satan worshippers really moved his dials, apparently. :haz:

All of us get lost in the garden

Dreamers turn to look at the flowers

That actually makes MORE sense than "Dreamers learn to look at the cars!"

Maybe Neil should run his lyrics by me for a cosmetic change or twelve before he hands them over to The Man.

I was so sure that was the lyric I even had what I thought was the logic behind it worked out :rfl:

The maples scream "oppression"

and the oaks just shave their heads...

If the oaks had done that, there would be no more conflict, and no need for the hatchet, axe and saw.

Most of Freeze thanks to the mixing. Some of the highlights:

Something stirs behind me

And my coffee to sweat

[...]

Sometimes I freeze...until the light comes

Sometimes I'm high, into the night

[...]

The man is threatened, closing

And I'm frozen in the shadows
