ThatLightInYourEyes
Thanks ! I love old Neil Young stuff , sadly he's only done a couple good albums in the last 30+ years. :finbar: True. He's at his best when he's at his most irreverent, and that's easier to do in your twenties. Still, he's quite the fighter.
Powderfinger
I'm obviously a Neil Young fanatic (see board name). But I just haven't been that excited about this one. The tracklist isn't that compelling in the wake of other APS releases. He has so many brilliant, unreleased songs that he's performed in concert. I'd be thrilled over an official live release from the "Doom Trilogy" era, or from the Zuma tour.
custom55
Here's a listen... http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/neil-young-goes-solo-on-live-at-the-cellar-door-album-premiere-20131202
Powderfinger
My previous post notwithstanding, I am enjoying this. But I maintain, Shakey is sitting on a treasure trove of unreleased material and live shows. This release, while impressive, is a bit redundant.
