Well, more women than men tend to like sappy, crappy soap operas too. ;)

 

When I joined TRF years ago, goobs was the first person that greeted and welcomed me. He was kind of new at the time too. But in that initial exchange in chat I knew I had a genuine mutant on my hands!

We have trailer parks full of them here in TN...still, its a great place to visit.

I think he gets into spats with people on other boards, so he may be having too much fun elsewhere. It's also possible he's become captivated by the Twilight series again, and can't stop reading long enough to post.

 

When Rushgoober returns to earth and TRF, I hope our "Man of the 30,000th Post" remembers that Lorraine not only was wondering what happened to him, but missed his presence as well. :)

Goobs continues to evade our presence...you know he's probably doing his prog show. Wonder if he has a studio audience?

Goobs is a great guy but he's a bit out there Oregon to be exact. He only lives there 'cause the hippies in San Francisco thought he was too much of a hippie and kicked him out. Seriously he's a great guy. He's the only guy I know that cries when he sees a diaper commercial. He's the only guy I know who lights Incense when he about to feed his kids. But really Goober is pretty cool, I remember him telling me that when he took his wife on their first date, he took her to an Astra concert and he bought her a tamborine and told her this will do until I buy you a bigger ring. But really, Goober is one of a kind, when he eats dinner he always plays Hold Your Fire. When he goes to the restroom he always plays Vapor Trails.

EDIT: Okay, my vote's in. Goober loves Neil's descriptions of wildlife almost as much as he does Stephanie Meyer's musings on sparkly vampires and E.L. James's incredibly authentic portrayals of corporate aristocrats and the amount of free time they all seem to have on their hands.
