But it's not like it's something that's easy to sell on. Of course you could always sell it to other criminals, but I think whoever bought them wanted to look at them.

I agree. They wanted to look at them, possess them (for a false-sense of elitism), and perhaps resell them at a later date for a huge profit.

 

Even in the black market and other not-so-honorable circles, there are different classes of dirtbag. The higher-class dirtbags have very good taste, you know....artwork, wine, gems, etc.
