fraroc Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) As an avid tumblr user, you'd be surprised how many very young teenage kids like Rush to the point that they have a anime-like fandom on that site, I personally think it's pretty cool. G Lee Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) The bestie relationship between Ged and Alex is personally one of my favorite aspects of Rush. I have a best friend like that who is my sister for life (we even have a name for our relationship called "Biffles/Bifflebands/Biff"). When I see those 2 interacting, it reminds me so much of my own relationship with my Biff. It's something that I can relate to and see the depth in and that touches me in a warm and cozy manner. As to the fanfiction, not really my thing for Ged/Alex, but it happens with any famous people really. Used to read Beatles slash here and there when I was a teenager. Not surprising it would exist for Rush at all. (**Think of what they've come up with for our dear Professor :o .) Huge Ackman Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Huge!! Where have you been? I've been wondering that too. :) Mostly lurking here and working way too much. And attending other shows to fill the void until Rush comes around again. Now, digging through old photos looking for any I might not have posted yet...not finding many but maybe I'll just put up some that I've posted before. I'll be at two Rush shows this summer, for sure, working on a third (Las Vegas) but that one looks like more of a budget-buster than I was able to pull off for Denver, so it may not happen. I am most definitely going to be at my local show (The Palace of Auburn Hills) and plan to spend whatever is necessary to be up close for that one. Until then, photos and RushRadio.org get me through the Rush-drought... just 139 days until that first show!
